Email Marketing for Open Student Positions
At the beginning of the week, I took the time to draft an email regarding the open positions on the SJCC Associated Student Government (ASG) board.
Second Harvest Volunteer Event
On short notice, I heard about the Second Harvest Food Distribution event on the San Jose City College (SJCC) campus for August 12, 2020. I organized for our President, Amaria Rogers and Chief Justice, Francis Seludo to join me in volunteering. For the event, I designed flyers to remind students to charter their clubs before club day as well as to apply for ASG board positions. Our Chief Justice and I distributed the flyers to students during the food drive.

I also created an outline for club day, which will be discussed and expanded on during this meeting by our President.
Future Volunteer Opportunity with Second Harvest
I will be working on creating a partnership with Second Harvest in the upcoming week(s). To uphold the values our President, Amaria Rogers has specified for Associated Student Government at the beginning of her term, my goal is to get the entire ASG board to attend these food drives and registered as a team. I'm striving to make this a regular partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank so we can feed the families of this school community and beyond. That way, Second Harvest will always have a team of volunteers to count on.
