ASG COMMITTEES

ASG committees are created to address specific student matters. Each committee is approved by the Associated Student Government during an official meeting, and a lead student is appointed within the first or second week after the matter is introduced.

Committees may be seasonal or active throughout the year, depending on the nature of the issue. Every committee includes additional members; if you are interested in becoming a committee member or serving as an ambassador during meetings, please reach out to asgpresident@sjcc.edu.

Committee members are expected to attend two meetings: one within their assigned committee and one with the school. Students who participate will receive an ASG certificate and a small amount stipend.
