So, What in the Wide World of Sports is Geoguessr Free , Anyway?

Imagine this: the game plops you down in a completely random street view location somewhere on planet Earth. One moment you're staring at a bustling marketplace in Mumbai, the next you're on a dusty road in rural Idaho, and then, BAM! You're cruising past a fjord in Norway. Your mission, should you choose to accept it (and trust us, you will), is to figure out where on Earth you are.

That’s right, no compass, no GPS, no helpful locals shouting directions in English (unless you get really lucky, and even then, good luck understanding their accent!). You're armed with nothing but your keen observation skills, a healthy dose of common sense, and the ability to virtually wander down the road, peer at signs, analyze architecture, and maybe even decipher some foreign script. Once you think you’ve got it, you drop a pin on a world map, and the game reveals your true location. The closer you are to the actual spot, the more points you rack up. Simple, right? Oh, you sweet summer child, you have no idea.
