What is ASG? 

Associated Student Government (ASG), serves as your representative voice on matters impacting the entire student body at SJCC.
​
Our room and services are open to all students. You can find us in SC-115 of the student center (photo on the left).

Office hours are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Our Mission

The Student Senate (ASG) extends its advocacy to regional and statewide levels, addressing a spectrum of issues, from financial aid to academic policy.

A paper airplane symbol, it symbolizes the goal to send a post to anyone you might desire to.

Active Clubs

Sacnas Chapter, It is a college group focused on STEM activities. The logo have an atom in the middle, and it carries two blue colors, black, and white.
Student Worldwide Association - SJCC. It is a club that unifies every student and their cultural differences. The logo has three big letters: "SWA," and it looks that they are in a type of "global pedestal," but the big letters are an analogy to the world. The main color is purple, the background is white.

Luz club is an acronym for Latinx; it is a community for Latinos. We have the name LUZ in the middle referecing the light that it exists in the community. The name "Luz" is surrounded by flags named Latinx Unity Zone.
