MEET THE student trustee

Pratham Tated
Technology and Information Management Major
Pratham Tated currently serves as the Student Trustee for San Jose City College. His primary focus is to advocate for student needs at the district and state levels, collaborate with leadership to expand campus resources, and ensure students have access to greater academic and career opportunities. He is pursuing a major in Technology and Information Management with the goal of bridging business and technology to drive innovative solutions.
He also serves as the President of the Salaam Namaste Club, fostering cultural exchange on campus, and as the Treasurer of the Jaguars Coding Club, helping students explore opportunities in coding and technology fields. In addition to his leadership roles, Pratham is actively involved in initiatives that support student success and engagement.
Through his work with student government, his internship at Stanford Linear Accelerator Laboratory, and his volunteer service at the Jain Center of Northern California, Pratham is committed to empowering students and giving back to the community that has helped him grow.
Outside of academics, he is a professional figure skater with over 100 medals and a certified skating referee, continuing to inspire others through his dedication to both sports and service.
