Vy Mai is the current Vice President of Finance for SJCC ASG. In this role, she focuses on ensuring financial transparency, supporting student organizations with funding, and collaborating with fellow officers to create meaningful events that enrich student life. She is pursuing a major in Data Science and Mathematics with the goal of transferring to a four - year university as an Applied Mathematics or Data Science major.

 

Vy also serves as the President of the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA), where she has helped strengthen the organization’s presence on campus and connect with the broader NorCal UVSA network. Additionally, she is the Treasurer of the K-pop Club, supporting the club’s growth and community engagement.

 

As a tutor in the Tutoring Center, Vy supports students in subjects such as math, history, English, and Java, helping them improve their academic skills and confidence.

 

Through involvement in ASG, VSA, tutoring, and community events, Vy Mai is committed to building connections, uplifting student voices, and creating opportunities for growth. Outside of academics, she enjoys crocheting, hanging out with friends, and continuing to develop as a leader.
