As the Director of Communications for the Associated Student Government at San Jose City College, Aung Lwin Oo is dedicated to building stronger connections across campus. Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Aung Lwin Oo brings both creativity and leadership experience to his role, driven by a vision of making SJCC a space where every student feels included, connected, and at home.

 

Beyond academics, Aung Lwin Oo enjoys exploring new sports—whether or not he’s good at them, he embraces the joy of the moment. He is also passionate about drawing and discovering new genres of music, finding inspiration in creativity and self-expression.

 

The SJCC community itself is his greatest motivation, fueling his commitment to create a friendly, inclusive environment where no student feels like an outsider. Supported wholeheartedly by family, friends, and classmates, Aung Lwin Oo is grateful for the encouragement that has shaped his journey into leadership.

 

With past experiences working in his family’s business and volunteering at church events, Aung Lwin Oo has developed strong teamwork and communication skills that now guide his approach to student advocacy. His vision is to see SJCC not just as a place for classes, but as a community where students come together, support each other, and build lasting friendships.
