Volunteering opportunities
As part of our commitment to student development, we encourage all students to take part in volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Volunteer sign-ups are typically posted two weeks in advance to help us plan effectively.

Fall Semester
Halloween Fest/Fall Harvest Festival
Volunteer at the Fall Festival to gain leadership experience, support event planning and setup, and make a meaningful impact in the SJCC community, all while earning service hours and have fun with the community.
Fall Semester
Thanksgiving Dinner
Help us create a welcoming holiday experience at SJCC’s Thanksgiving Dinner. Volunteers will assist with decorating, serving food, greeting guests, and helping everyone feel at home during this special event.
Spring Semester
Spring Cultural Festival
As a volunteer, you can host cultural games at booths, serve food, assist with setup and cleanup, and help create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for students and guests. It’s a hands-on way to showcase community pride and celebrate our campus diversity.
